The home is situated between the Churchill-laan and the Amstelkade. The Sloestraat is one of the quieter streets in the vibrant Rivierenbuurt where you will find a well-balanced mix of elegant streets, green areas and parks such as the Beatrixpark and the Amstelpark. All amenities are within reach: the welcoming Scheldestraat with many local shops, supermarkets, and delicatessen is right around the corner. And if you feel like wandering a little further, the Beethovenstraat is not too far and offers a wide variety of shops too. You can even moor your boat along the Amstelkade should you feel like a boat ride. Right in the bend at the Amstelkade, five different waters join together by the Musenplein.
Exit roads, such as the A10 motorway (exit S109), are also easily accessible. Public transport is well represented here: you will find all the trams, buses, the underground and trains you might need (amongst others the Noord-/Zuidlijn underground line) taking you wherever you would wish, and are all close by. There are no trams allowed in the part of the Churchill-laan that borders on the Sloestraat. Parking is arranged via the Amsterdam permit system.
